The Black Russian Terrier Club of Canada (BRTCC) is a National Breed Club managed by a Board of Directors consisting of President, Vice-President, Secretary, Treasurer, and Regional Directors representing Canadian Provinces and Territories. The Black Russian Terrier Club of Canada was founded in 1999
to encourage and promote quality in the breeding pure breed Black Russian Terriers and, as possible, to bring their natural qualities to perfection; to urge members and breeders to accept the standard of the breed as approved by the CKC as the only standard of excellence by which the Black Russian Terrier shall be judged; to do all in its power to protect and advance the interests of the breed and to encourage sportsman-like competition at dog shows, obedience trials and working trials; to conduct sanctioned matches, specialty shows, obedience trials and working trials under the rules of the CKC for competition and public interest; to educate the public as to the nature of the Black Russian Terrier and benefits of pure-breed dogs; to encourage and advise owners, breeders and interested persons in furthering their knowledge and appreciation of the bred through education programs; to publish literature in the interest and education of the Black Russian Terrier; |
